MULTIMEDIA FILES, ICONS, AND LINKS TO OTHER INFOBASES

Extensive audio and video segments are integrated within LSS+. These are denoted by a blue media icon, which indicates a file is contained within the LSS+ disk, or a gold icon, denoting that the file is contained on an LSS100, LSS200, LSS300, or LSS400 series disk.  As can be seen, the specific disk is identified within the link.

Clicking on the icon will play the media file through Windows Media Player, or will instruct you to insert another disk. Once the requested Infobase loads, you must click on the multimedia file that you wish to view, on that disk.

Individual media files can be played directly from a CD by opening the CD in FILE + OPEN from Views, then selecting the specific file. Be sure to CLOSE the window to return to Views. If you wish to store video disks on your hard drive, you can copy the entire disk to the director that contains the VIEWS.EXE file. This is c:\program files\LSSplus. This will eliminate the requirement of inserting additional CDs to view individual files.
