SEARCH  TOOLS

Every word is indexed within this Infobase. This sophisticated search engine sets LSS+ apart from traditional PDF files. You have the ability to search for any word, term, or phrase, through the use of query templates. There are four of these available: Standard Query (F3); Advanced default Query (F2); LSS+ Advanced Query (CTRL-F2); and the LSS+ Chapter-Section search tool, which will allow you to enter a specific chapter and section and locate it instantly. See F1 for detailed information.

Enter F3 for the standard query template.

Enter F2 for the default Advanced Query, showing hits and mapping. In the actual query shown below, the words HPC, INTERACTIVE, and LEARNING were entered. The results map shows that there are 179 instances of HPC, 28 instances of INTERACTIVE, and 53 instances of LEARNING within the Infobase. However, there are a total of only 27 instances where all three words occur within the same location. The reader can then proceed to view each hit, or go directly to a hit by pressing the ENTER key, then F4 for the next hit, and SHIFT-F4 for the previous hit. Shown is the first instance of the query HPC INTERACTIVE LEARNING. A query can be initiated from anywhere within the Infobase, and will search all text within the Infobase.

Enter CTRL-F2 for this search tool.

Enter CTRL-F3 to locate chapter and section.
