ABOUT SECURITY

Security is integral to LSS+ and FOLIO software. In order to run your copy of LSS+, you must obtain an unlock code. You may only run your copy of the software on one computer, unless you obtain a license from the author for multiple users or computers.

The disks may be copied, but they will not run without the unlock code for each computer. If you attempt to manipulate the clock to extend the PREVIEW copy expiration date, it will violate certain internal security parameters and will make the program unusable.

You may not register a different security level than you have purchased. If you do so, the program will not run.

If you must load your software on a new or different computer, you must secure a new unlock code. You must clearly specify the reason for a reissue of the code.

Prior to being issued an unlock code, you must register with Security.org. Your vendor must also register your serial number and invoice number. If you purchased your copy of LSS+ through Security.org, then credit card payment must be verified prior to issuance of the unlock code. You must be prepared to provide your product serial number when attempting to secure the unlock code. If there is a duplicate product serial number on file, you will be denied access.

If you attempt to tamper with the program in any way, operation of the software may be terminated automatically, and will require an uninstall and reinstallation, and obtaining of a new unlock code.

If you alter the setting of the clock forward then backward, your license will be voided and the system will not allow you to open the Infobase, regardless whether you had a valid license or not. In such case, you must uninstall the software, reinstall the software and obtain a new license.
