If you purchase the Philips HomeSafe Standard or HomeSafe with AutoAlert, you won’t need to recharge the batteries. Instead the batteries will send out a signal when they are running low and Philips will send out replacement batteries.
If you purchase the GoSafe or GoSafe 2 systems, you’ll receive a rechargeable battery. The GoSafe battery lasts up to seven days on a single charge and the GoSafe 2 battery lasts up to three days on one charge.
