Ozzie Enriquez
Experience
A West Point graduate with more than three decades of security experience spanning both the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Defense (DOD), Ozzie has operated at the apex of America’s national security. He has served as a DHS Senior Watch Officer at the National Operations Center and as DHS Duty Director for Current Operations. These roles placed him at the center of real-time threat monitoring and crisis response for the entire nation.
At the Department of Defense, Ozzie served as Deputy Director of Security at the Missile Defense Agency within the U.S. Pentagon. There, he managed a staff of over 300 security professionals and oversaw full-spectrum security teams delivering strategic solutions across a wide range of customers and mission sets. His portfolio spans physical security, program security, test security, antiterrorism and force protection, mission assurance, security operations, emergency management, and continuity of operations. This range of experience has given him a command of both tactical execution and strategic planning.
As a designated Antiterrorism Officer, Ozzie developed and refined threat mitigation strategies used at major federal installations, and assisted in planning and executing multiple full-scale Active Shooter training exercises at facilities across the United States. He has also contributed to the development of Facility Security Plans for high-level international conferences.
Education
Ozzie is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point — one of the most rigorous and prestigious military institutions in the world. He further sharpened his expertise through executive-level education at two elite programs reserved for senior government leaders: the Pentagon’s Joint Staff Executive Antiterrorism Seminar and Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government Crisis Management Executive Program. He is also a certified Antiterrorism Officer — a credential earned not in a classroom, but across decades of real-world federal service.
Security is a mindset. As citizens, it is important that we all make security part of our daily lives — simple awareness of what is happening around us is a huge step forward toward being safe and secure.
