What Data Does Onerep Remove?

Onerep’s Standard plan covers 318 public data brokers, according to the company’s own pricing page. Upgrading to Pro adds several hundred non-public brokers. These are brokers that don’t operate a searchable website but still buy, package, and resell your information, bringing total coverage to roughly 870 sites.

That 318 figure is on the lower end for this category. Across the data removal services we’ve reviewed, several competitors publish broker counts well above 400 on their entry-level plans, so Onerep’s headline affordability comes with a real coverage gap at the Standard tier specifically. Pro closes most of that gap, but at nearly double the Standard price.

Onerep Data Removal Process

Coverage numbers only matter if the removal process behind them holds up. Onerep’s process is fully automated from start to finish. It scans for your information across its broker network, submits removal requests, and rescans monthly to catch anything that reappears. Shelest later acknowledged retaining an ownership stake in Nuwber, saying there was no data sharing between it and Onerep. Mozilla had built Onerep into its Firefox Monitor Plus product. It ended that partnership within days, citing outside financial interests and activities that didn’t align with its values.2 Mozilla fully unwound the relationship by November 2025, and Monitor Plus shut down that December.

None of that touches whether Onerep’s removal requests work. It does affect how much benefit of the doubt you extend to a founder who’s profited from the exact kind of site his own service claims to fight. Some readers will consider that a dealbreaker. Others won’t. Either way, it’s worth knowing before you sign up, not after.
