How Much Does Cloaked Cost?

Cloaked offers three plans, priced by how many people you want covered. All plans can be billed monthly or annually, with annual billing working out to a lower effective monthly rate. We ran Cloaked’s free personalized risk report before subscribing to any plan. It took a couple of minutes and gave us a rough sense of our exposure before we committed to a paid tier, a useful gut-check most competitors don’t offer for free.

For context, Cloaked’s Individual plan lands a few dollars above dedicated data removal services we’ve tested, like Incogni, which starts at $7.99 a month on its annual plan. That gap makes more sense once you factor in everything else Cloaked bundles in. The aliases, VPN, and password manager aren’t included in a removal-only subscription.

Since every Cloaked plan includes the exact same features, the choice between them comes down entirely to how many people you need covered rather than which tier has better tools. That makes picking a plan simpler than it is with services that reserve certain features for higher tiers.

Couple Plan

We recommend the Couple plan if you’re covering a partner but don’t need the larger household size of the Family plan. It covers two people under one subscription with the same features as the Individual plan, just split across two accounts. That runs $14.99 a month on annual billing, or about $7.50 per person, versus $19.98 a month combined for two separate Individual plans. The Couple plan isn’t just a convenience of one bill instead of two. It’s a real discount for bundling.

Family Plan

We recommend the Family plan for households of up to four, since it covers the subscriber plus three additional members at a lower per-person cost than subscribing individually. At $299.99 a year, that works out to about $6.25 per person per month. DeleteMe’s Family plan covers the same four people for $329 a year, or roughly $6.85 per person per month, but doesn’t include the aliases, VPN, password manager, or identity theft insurance that come with every Cloaked plan. Cloaked’s Family plan costs less per person than DeleteMe’s while covering considerably more.

Most data removal services we’ve tested follow the same basic pattern, scanning for your information, requesting removal, then monitoring and resubmitting as needed. Cloaked works the same way. The difference is everything else bundled around it.

What Data Does Cloaked Remove?

Cloaked advertises removal from 1,000+ websites, which sounds like a large number relative to some competitors. Looking at Cloaked’s own published site list, though, only 350+ of those are actual data brokers and people-search sites. The remaining 700+ are general company and retailer websites rather than the kind of data broker sites most people are actually worried about.

That’s worth keeping in mind if you’re comparing Cloaked’s coverage directly against a competitor’s broker count, since not every company we’ve tested defines “sites covered” the same way. Cloaked Data Removal Process

Cloaked’s removal process starts with a scan of your name, email, and phone number against its list of covered sites. This identifies where your information currently appears. From there, it submits removal requests on your behalf and continues monitoring those sites afterward, resubmitting if your information reappears.

Some listings process automatically, while others are flagged as needing manual action, either from Cloaked’s team or, in some cases, from you directly. Cloaked claims most removals complete within 30 days, which tracks with the typical timeline we’ve seen across other data removal services we’ve tested. Realistically, though, removal speed depends more on the specific site or database holding your data than on which service is doing the requesting. A site with a slow or unresponsive opt-out process will take a while no matter who’s asking.

Cloaked Privacy Measures

Any data removal service needs your personal information to know what to search for and remove, which makes its own data handling worth a look. Cloaked states that it doesn’t sell user data and outlines how information is used internally to power its aliases, removal requests, and monitoring features.

Cloaked’s aliasing system is central to its privacy approach beyond removal itself. By generating masked emails and phone numbers for new signups, it reduces how much of your real contact information gets handed to new services in the first place. That’s a different kind of protection than removing data that’s already out there. Between the aliasing system, the password manager, and the built-in VPN, Cloaked is handling a wider range of sensitive account data than a removal-only service would. That raises the stakes on its own security practices.

What that means for you as a subscriber is straightforward: you’re consolidating more of your digital life into one account than you would with a dedicated removal service. That’s a real convenience, but it also means a single compromised Cloaked login carries more consequences than a compromised account with a single-purpose tool.

Cloaked Customer Support

If something goes wrong, the strength of Cloaked’s support depends heavily on what kind of problem you’re having. Identity theft cases get the most attention. Cloaked’s insurance coverage comes with access to restoration specialists who can actually do the legwork of contacting financial institutions and correcting fraudulent records on your behalf, rather than just pointing you toward instructions to follow yourself.

Everyday account issues, like a billing question or trouble with an alias, get routed through Cloaked’s standard help center rather than a dedicated support line. Cloaked doesn’t prominently advertise 24/7 live phone support the way some identity theft protection competitors we’ve tested do, which is worth knowing before you subscribe if fast, direct human contact for routine problems matters to you. The restoration support is the stronger of the two, so if support quality factors into your decision, weigh it against how likely you are to actually need identity theft recovery versus everyday account help.

Is Cloaked Worth It?

Cloaked makes the most sense if you want data removal bundled with a broader set of privacy tools, aliases, a VPN, a password manager, and identity theft insurance. You’ll need to be comfortable paying for that bundle even if you wouldn’t use every piece of it. Scam call volume alone makes the case for some of these features. Americans received an estimated 52.5 billion robocalls in 2025, and victims of scam calls lost an average of $3,690 in the first half of that year.3 Call-blocking and identity theft insurance aren’t nothing against numbers like that.

If data removal specifically is your main concern, everything covered above points the same direction. Cloaked’s coverage numbers are murkier than a dedicated service’s. It skips custom removal requests, and its claims haven’t been independently audited the way Incogni’s have. None of that makes Cloaked a bad product. It does mean the aliases, VPN, and insurance are doing more of the work to justify the subscription than the removal feature would on its own.
