Checking both companies’ current pricing pages, both price their base tier close to $8 a month, but the similarity mostly ends there.

For a single person, Incogni and Privacy Bee start at almost the same price, but each tier buys something different. Incogni’s entry-level Standard plan already includes its full 420+ broker network. Unlimited, Incogni’s only other individual plan, doesn’t add more of that network. It adds Custom Removals, letting you submit sites outside the standard list by hand.

Privacy Bee scales differently. Each tier up adds more of its own network rather than a separate feature. Essentials only reaches a portion of the company’s network. Pro unlocks the full 1,000+ broker list plus custom removal access. Signature adds a dedicated analyst on top of that for roughly $67 a month, well beyond anything Incogni charges an individual subscriber.

Family pricing is another area where the two companies’ structures differ. Incogni’s Family plan covers five people for $191.88 a year, working out to $15.99 a month on annual billing or $31.98 a month billed monthly. Privacy Bee doesn’t offer a comparable bundle. Each person needs a separate license, discounted slightly when you add family members, but priced individually rather than pooled the way Incogni’s Family tier works. If you’re covering a household, that structural difference adds up fast.

Data Removal Coverage

Price only tells part of the story. What actually gets covered at each price point is where the two companies diverge the most.

Incogni’s Standard plan covers 420+ data brokers automatically. Automated removal means Incogni’s software already knows about each one and submits requests on a set schedule without you doing anything. Unlimited adds Custom Removals on top of that. There’s no fixed list for this feature. You can submit any site where you find your own information, and a privacy specialist handles that request by hand. Incogni has used Custom Removals to remove real customer data from 3,000+ sites so far, bringing total coverage to 3,420+.

With Privacy Bee, coverage scales with the tier you pick. The company advertises 1,000+ data brokers and people-search sites, but that full list only comes with the Pro plan. At the entry-level Essentials tier, you’re only covered for a few hundred people-search sites. That’s still useful, but nowhere near as useful as what Incogni gives you at its entry level. The real value at Privacy Bee lives in Pro, which unlocks the full 1,000+ broker network plus a database of more than 180,000 additional sites for custom removals.

Verification and Transparency

Only one of these two companies has published an independent audit at all. Incogni’s broker coverage and removal claims have been independently verified by Deloitte, including confirmation that requests actually get processed rather than just sent out, a level of scrutiny we rarely see even among the larger names in this category. Privacy Bee hasn’t published anything comparable.

Privacy Bee does disclose something worth noting on its own. The company says it’s US-based and fully self-funded, with no outside venture capital or private equity investment. That’s not third-party verification of its removal claims, but it does mean there’s no outside investor with a financial stake in how the company handles customer data.

Here’s what that means if you’re choosing between the two. With Incogni, you don’t have to take the company’s coverage numbers on faith, an outside auditor already checked them. With Privacy Bee, you’re relying on the company’s own word for what it removes and how it handles your information, backed only by a general statement about who owns it. Neither is a dealbreaker on its own, but if independent proof matters to you, Incogni is the only one of the two that offers it.

What Else Each Service Offers

Trust and coverage aside, the two companies also differ in how much they try to do beyond removal itself.

Incogni stays close to its core job. Standard and Unlimited cover automated and custom removals, and that’s it, no other tools bundled in. That narrow focus is consistent with what we’ve found testing Incogni’s plans directly. It doesn’t try to be anything other than a removal service.

Privacy Bee goes further at its higher tiers, packing in a tracker-blocking browser extension, a private search engine, inbox scanning for marketing trackers, dark web monitoring, Google search result removal requests, and tools to blur your home on Google Maps. Signature adds a dedicated analyst who personally follows up on stalled removal requests, something Incogni doesn’t offer at any price.

Bottom Line

For most people, what actually shows up when you pay the entry price is the deciding factor. Incogni’s Standard plan hands you its complete audited broker network for $7.99 a month. Privacy Bee’s Essentials plan, at almost the same price, hands you a partial slice of the network the company advertises, and getting the rest means paying close to double.

We recommend Incogni if you want full core coverage at the lowest price point, verified by an outside auditor, and you need a plan that covers multiple people at once. Alternatively, choose Privacy Bee if you’re prepared to pay for the Pro or Signature tier specifically, and you want the tracker blocking, dark web monitoring, and other extras that come with it.
