What We Like

What We Don't Like

  • Limited credit protection features: While Coveron now covers home title fraud and monitors all three bureaus, it only offers full credit reports from TransUnion.
  • Limited availability: Coveron is not available to users living in the state of New York.
  • No family plan: On family plans, the $2 million insurance limit is shared across the whole household, and children only get dark web monitoring, not full protection.

Bottom Line

Coveron offers all the basics we look for in an identity theft protection service, such as credit monitoring, up to $2 million in identity theft recovery, and dark web monitoring. It still lacks some premium features we typically look for, like full credit reports from all three bureaus. That said, the recent addition of home title fraud insurance, Washington availability, and Family and Couple plans show that it's growing into a stronger, more complete player in the industry.
